 The joys of setting up new profiles

Yes, I admit it. I too struggle across various platforms and need to look into the help menu. Setting up my blog was easy. Now, I discover no one can follow me and receive notifications about new posts. After 2 mins searching, I had it. Uff... 

Here we go:

1. log in and bring up the editor page. You will find a button titled Layout on the left handside. Press it. 

2. on the new Page scroll down a bit to find Add Gadget - located a bit towards the right. Press that. 

3. in the pop up menu, scroll down and select Followers. Go go Gadget and now people can follow you. 

Feel free to follow each other. I post blog addresses of continuing students on Myunihub and you can have a look on what they did. Feel free to comment and have conversations.

 Welcome to the BA Professional Art Practice programme and an exciting new adventure in your lives. 

The blogs on this programme are an interactive way for you to reflect on your practice, grabble with critical thinking and concepts and interact with others' opinions and views. 

I too will post here along 2 lines:

1. as notice board for the programme

2. reflections about my own learning

As always in life, there are likely moments, when you will find less time to blog. Please ensure that stating the programme you establish a routine of a weekly blog. Later on, when you have assignments to complete, you will obviously be busy writing those. The blog is there to pick up later on. 

For our sessions and recordings. All recordings will be on our Middlesex University Learning Environment. It is not openly available. Please give staff time to upload recordings. When sessions finish, zoom takes a while and we aim to post within the next 24 hours. If it is not up after 48 hours, please get in touch via email and we look into it. 

For the first week, your tasks are:

- check MDX Learning Environment

- download the Student Handbook, Assessment and teaching calendar and ACI3001 module handbook

- ensure that you have fully enrolled on the 3 modules you take this year.

And finally enjoy our movement classes.
